Clare ~ A bit about me, I was competitive swimmer as a youngster up to national level. A volunteer teacher with Basildon swimming club from my teens. I decided to qualify before I started my family and take it further to be my full time job. I achieved my assistant teacher qualification then level 2 teacher becoming head teacher. I achieved my level 4 Club Coach becoming Rookie and Masters Coach & getting some swimmers to County Champions. I worked along side my club work as a Parent & Baby teacher before establishing Clare Clarke Swim School 30 years ago.
Gavin ~ I swam competitively from a young age. At 16 I got my first job as a lifeguard, and from watching the lessons decided I wanted to teach them! I took my qualifications to become a swimming teacher in 2004, working at Centre Parcs, Blackshots, Greenwich Leisure and Everyone's Active. I met Clare in 2017 and became part of her team.
